Homeless Care Kits

Metrocare serves over 3,000 individuals through its homeless and housing services. The We Care Homeless Outreach Kits hold essential items for unhoused individuals. The kits help outreach workers build trusting relationships with homeless individuals and enable them to connect with our clinics and mental health services.

Hope Box Supply Drive

Metrocare’s Suicide Prevention and Resilience in Children (SPARC) program provides weekly therapy for teens who made a recent suicide attempt or have experienced worsening suicidal thoughts. Teens decorate their own Hope Box that holds items, pictures, or symbols to remind them of their reasons for living.

Rock Painting

Volunteers can join our community rock garden project by either painting rocks at our Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic in Addison or at home, and then delivering the rocks to us. These beautifully painted rocks serve as positive reminders for our clients who come in for mental health counseling, spreading messages of hope and encouragement throughout our clinic.
