Advocate
Metrocare’s goal is to advocate for effective legislature that helps improve funding for programs that address the mental health, intellectual disability, substance use disorder treatment, primary care, pediatrics and housing programs for individuals in Dallas County and throughout the state.
Mental Health First Aid
Mental Health First Aid is an eight-hour training certification course which teaches participants a five-step action plan to assess a situation, select and implement interventions and secure appropriate care for the individual.
