Intellectual & Development Disabilities Services

IDD Services includes programs, services and supports to eligible children and adults in the community. These services are intended to provide individuals with intellectual disabilities the skills and supports needed to continue to live meaningful lives.

Autism Services

The Centers for Children with Autism at Metrocare (CCAM) provide a hands-on approach with assessments, one-to-one therapy, one-to-two therapy, group therapy, and parent training to maximize progress for children aged two to twelve.

Behavior Treatment Services

BTS specializes in offering accurate evaluation and on-going support to improve behaviors, minimize community placement failures and reduce the need for acute care.

Career Design & Development Services

CDDS is a full-service employment service committed to providing skilled, dependable employees with positive attitudes and an intense desire to work.

Community Living Assistance and Support Services

CLASS provides individuals in the CLASS Waiver program with case management services.

Crisis Respite

The crisis home serves individuals ages 10 and up that need short term emergency placement due to individual behavior, involvement with Adult Protective Services, or a family crisis.

Early Childhood Intervention

ECI is a state and federally funded program through the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. ECI supports families to help their children reach their potential through development services.

Eligibility & Determination Unit

The Eligibility Determination Unit (EDU) is the central intake site for people with mental retardation, pervasive developmental disorders, or a related condition residing in Dallas County. EDU provides information, screening, assessment, and referral.  

Home and Community Based Services

HCS is a Medicaid waiver program that provides services and support to individuals with intellectual disability disorders so they can continue to live with family or independently.

Texas Home Living

TxHmL is a Medicaid waiver program that provides services and support to individuals with intellectual disability disorders so they can continue to live with family or independently.
