In support of the DFW community, Cohen Veterans Network (CVN) in collaboration with the Cohen Clinic at Metrocare has a great new resource for North Texas Frontline Healthcare Providers& First Responders impacted by COVID-19.

CVN is now offering DFW frontline healthcare providers and first responders online mental health resources including free support groups and wellness videos. All frontline healthcare providers and first responders in North Texas are able to register for free, online support groups for coping and managing stress.

Interviews: Clinic Director Dr. Amy Williams is available to talk about our online resources and the value of support groups. She could also cite data explaining stressors these frontline workers are facing during the pandemic. This video by Dr. Williams about isolation and loneliness is just one of our online COVID-19 resources.

Visuals/Data: Attached is an infographic with data from our recent survey showing that 55% of frontline workers are concerned about the impact of the pandemic on their mental health. This infographic is also attached, which shows that 58% of Americans are concerned about their mental health because of social distancing. More information about this data is available here: America’s Mental Health Pulse.
