Metrocare Awarded a $3.9M federal grant for the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic Expansi

Metrocare announces a $3,999,992 grant award from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) for the expansion of Metrocare as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). A federal investment of this magnitude has massive implications for better access to best-in-class, integrated behavioral health care across Dallas County.

Metrocare, now a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, first in Dallas County

Metrocare Services today announced a monumental leap forward in behavioral health services for Dallas County. The Texas Department of Health and Human Services designated Metrocare as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), a national model creating the gold-standard of integrated behavioral health care.
