Homeless & Housing Services
Metrocare is one of the largest providers of housing services in Dallas.
We provide permanent supportive housing services as well as mental health services to nearly 3,000 individuals annually. Our wide array of housing services include homeless outreach, homeless clinics, rehabilitative support services, housing placement assistance, and support for adults 18 and older who are mentally ill. Metrocare receives referrals for housing from the Coordinated Access System managed by Housing Forward. Individuals who are experiencing homelessness cannot directly apply for housing with Metrocare. If you are currently experiencing homelessness, call The Homeless Crisis Helpline at 888-411-6802 to receive information and resources.
